70cl. 40% abv.
It was first developed as a special whisky in 1913 by owner Joseph Seagram to mark the marriage of his son and no-one knows for sure whether it stands for Very Old or Very Own. Whichever, it is a classic Canadian rye whisky - earthy, slightly fruity, cedar wood and just a touch of cream sherry. Good on its own or as a Highball with ginger ale. It used to be rock star Alice Cooper's tipple of choice.
