During the year we hold several tasting evenings with speakers from either distilleries or bottling companies. These are usually held at the White Hart Hotel that sits in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral. They are by invitation only and Norman has a list of those interested in attending, who he contacts prior to each tasting.

If you would like to gather a group of friends together, then we would be pleased to welcome you to The Lincoln Whisky Shop in the heart of old Lincoln, any evening, to taste and learn a little about whisky. We can accommodate up to twenty people inside the shop.

Norman will talk you through “nosing” and tasting techniques to get the best from each dram and also tell you about the distilling process. You will taste and compare five whiskies, all very different, from each of the main regions of Scotland.

You should leave us a little wiser and a lot merrier at the end of the evening!
