Founded in 2005 by the Wemyss family (pronounced Weems), the company specialises in vatting together the finest malt whiskies from different distilleries, so producing a blended malt - not a blend, as it contains only malt whiskies and no grain. 16 different malt whiskies are expertly blended together before introducing the "signature" malts to give a distinctive profile.
The "signature" malts for Spice King are from the Highlands, giving the whisky a rich spicy flavour with just the faintest hint of sea. An assertive, full-flavoured whisky suitable for drinking any time.
